2. In situations involving low speed, heavy load, and no need for coupling centering

In some places, although the speed is low and the load is heavy, the impact and vibration are relatively small. Couplings are only used to transmit torque and do not need to be fixed at the center position. For example, the CL type coupling can adopt clearance fit. It neither affects the use nor brings convenience to the maintenance and repair of the equipment.

3. Situations where flexible connectors can be used despite impact and vibration

For some situations where the torque is not large, the impact and vibration are relatively severe, but flexible connectors can be used, clearance fits can also be adopted. At this point, the vibration and shock generated between the shaft extension and the coupling can be handled by the elastic device in the middle. If disassembly is required, there is no need for major efforts.

In conclusion, for all couplings that transmit torque by key, as long as it does not affect usage, transition or clearance fit can be adopted. This will bring convenience to the maintenance and installation of the equipment.
