The universal coupling shifts the motor forward and adopts a direct connection method; after the motor is 

shifted, the friction plate that is directly connected to the fan is re-customized and the motor foundation is 

remade. Since the motor foundation needs to be remade, and the motor is directly connected to the fan, the 

engineering transformation takes a long time. Many customers have a short power outage and maintenance 

time, and it is impossible to complete the remaking of the foundation during this period.


At the same time, the motor and the fan are rigidly connected. If the coaxiality is difficult to ensure, the consequences 

will be serious. Because the hardness increases, the coupling will wear, especially those connecting rods, bolts, gears 

and shafts that work under alternating loads. The quality of the elastomer material has a great impact on the 

transmission torque of the coupling and the service life of the coupling. At the same time, the efficiency of the 

coupling itself causes a decrease in energy saving rate.


Since the equipment uses a hydraulic coupling, it is now switched to high-voltage frequency conversion control. 

Considering the stability of the fan operation, a method is generally used to modify it. The hydraulic coupling 

retains the speed regulation opening value and adjusts it to the full output, which is adjusted by frequency 

conversion. Motor speed. The disadvantages of hydraulic couplings have not been eradicated, and the maintenance 

of hydraulic couplings also exists; the brake wheels are mainly made of ductile iron, and the use of cast steel and 

forged steel is not recommended.
