The coupling has good vibration absorption effect and easy maintenance. The diaphragm coupling is suitable for application of low torque transmission. The role of the fan transmission system is to transfer the mechanical energy converted from the wind wheel to the generator for power generation. For permanent magnet direct drive units, because of its relatively simple structure, mainly refers to the transmission shaft and other components. In order to improve the fatigue life of the diaphragm, TC4 forging has high requirements for the grade of high and low microstructure when processing the diaphragm, and many domestic titanium alloy manufacturers can not meet this requirement. For diaphragm forgings, designers generally put forward high requirements for the flatness of forgings produced by the forging factory, and some manufacturers in order to meet the flatness requirements of forgings produced by the factory, the use of heat treatment or mechanical means to forcibly control the deformation of forgings, so that the forgings themselves have a large internal stress, so that the processing produces stress release, resulting in a large number of forgings deformation. So that the forgings scrap. At present, the domestic flexible coupling equipment using titanium alloy material is still just starting.

Titanium alloy is an ideal flexible coupling material after long-term testing, its low density, high specific strength, has a certain corrosion resistance, these advantages can improve the overall performance of the product.
