Product Description of Flange Couplings

At present, the flange coupling is also known as the flange coupling. During the production process of the coupling parts, the two flange (flange) disc half couplings are connected by bolts. The coupling is connected with the two shafts with keys respectively, so as to realize the connection of the two shafts, transmit torque and motion. It is composed of two half-couplings with flanges connected by bolts. The flange shoulders and grooves of the two half-couplings are centered, and the torque is transmitted by the friction between the contact surfaces of the two half-couplings. Coupling halves are connected with ordinary bolts.

There are two main structural forms of the flange coupling: ①Rely on the hinged hole and use the bolt to realize the two-axis alignment and rely on the bolt rod to bear the extrusion and shear to transmit the torque; ②Rely on a half-coupling The shoulder of the coupling mates with the groove on the other coupling half for alignment. The bolts connecting the two half-couplings can be ordinary bolts of grade B, and the torque is transmitted by the friction torque on the joint surface of the two half-couplings. The flange coupling is easy to use, can transmit large torque, and requires high neutrality during installation. It is mainly used in occasions with good rigidity, low speed and stable load.

In recent years, the flange couplings designed by various transmission parts manufacturers do not have radial, axial and angular compensation performance. If they cannot be connected to the centering accuracy of the two shafts during use, the coupling will be reduced. Service life, transmission accuracy and transmission frequency, and cause vibration and noise. According to the size of the transmitted torque, all the bolts on the flange can be used for reaming hole bolts or half of them can be used for reaming hole bolts, and the other half can be used for ordinary bolts.
