Relative displacement and elastic deformation of diaphragm coupling

 to the outside to maintain equal strength conditions. The diaphragm coupling relies on the elastic deformation of the 

diaphragm to compensate for the relative displacement of the two connected shafts. , is a high-performance metal strong

The diaphragm has a corrugated axial cross-section, high elasticity and good compensation performance. The thickness of

many applications. Diaphragm couplings can be used in various mechanical equipment. The diaphragms are made of 

special high-strength impermeable steel sheets and are riveted into components. They are connected to the main and 

driven flanges with bolts respectively. The diaphragm is under tension during operation. , pressure and torsional stress.


The contact accuracy of the coupling body and the contact accuracy of the various parts of the diaphragm coupling are

 improved.The bolts penetrate from the outside of the small hole of the flange, then penetrate into the diaphragm hole, 

and then pass through the large

 hole of the other flange. Put on the buffer sleeve on the outside. When installing bolts, pay attention to the direction of 

the bolts. Do not install the bolts in any direction, otherwise the diaphragm will be distorted. Long-term operation will 

cause damage to the surface of the diaphragm and bolt mating section and the small hole of the half shaft section.

Because the surface of the mating section between the bolt and the flange is a very important mating section for 

transmitting torque, the surface integrity directly affects the performance. Therefore, the correct direction of 

installing the bolts of the diaphragm coupling is a key link, and be sure notto install it backwards or drop any small

parts, including spring washers, so that the bolt assembly can exert its excellent performance and the diaphragm 

coupling will not be caused. Other parts of the shaft are damaged.
